Sending Flowers to Mom on Mother’s Day

We love her every day of the year, but on May 14, we have the chance to really show Mom the love and appreciation she deserves. Our Mom is a mentor and counselor, best friend and cheerleader. She made us who we are and continues to love us as she did when we were young. There is just something remarkably special about our Moms, and we love that there is a day set aside to celebrate them. Peoples Flowers has been privileged to provide floral designs and bouquets for all occasions for over 70 years. Our collection of Mother's Day flowers and gifts has been created to give you a comprehensive selection of products, one of which will be perfect for her. Whether your mother lives in Albuquerque or across the country, we've got you covered. Here are just a few of our favorite designs from our annual collection.  Read More about Sending Flowers to Mom on Mother’s Day »

Administrative Professional Gifts & Floral Designs

When you consider who runs your organization every day, who comes to mind? According to the International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP), the unsung heroes - and backbone of every corporation - are the administrative professionals. These very important employees represent the first voice that your clients hear or the first face that they encounter. They handle appointments and schedules, wrangle all the details, and know how everything gets done. Administrative Professionals Week begins on April 23, giving Albuquerque business owners the opportunity to recognize all of the hard work and determination of their support personnel. And Peoples Flowers has the administrative professional gifts, floral designs, and plants that they are sure to love.  Read More about Administrative Professional Gifts & Floral Designs »

Easter Floral Design & Flowering Plants

There are many traditions associated with Easter Sunday - from chocolate bunnies (we eat 90 million of them) to Easter egg hunts (the most famous being on the White House lawn) there are time-honored customs to look forward to each year. Flowers are an integral part of Easter as well, with themes of renewal and rebirth being beautifully expressed through the spring blooms in vivid color. No one does Easter floral design better than Peoples Flowers, and on April 16th, you can be sure that the most gorgeous florals in Albuquerque came from our shop. Did You Know? Many consider flowers to be an essential part of Easter due to the Resurrection story. Jesus was first on Sunday morning in a garden - and was even mistaken taken by the first women to be the gardener.  Read More about Easter Floral Design & Flowering Plants »

Puppy Day Emphasizes Need for Adoption

National Puppy Day was established by animal advocates who saw the need for awareness and education regarding the plight of puppies in the United States. It is estimated that only 1 in 10 puppies born each year will spend their full life in a loving family home. Instead, along with their adult counterparts, over 4 million canines will enter into the shelter system this year - a number that sadly, the system cannot accommodate. Organizers of National Puppy Day strive to inform pet owners of the problem, encourage puppy adoption, and help to significantly decrease the number of unwanted puppies born each year. Did You Know? If you are an animal lover and would like to help, it is as easy as ordering your bouquets and arrangements from Peoples Flowers. Through our Helping Hands Program, you can choose to make a donation to Animal Humane New Mexico with every online purchase.  Read More about Puppy Day Emphasizes Need for Adoption »
